The Neon Lights Tour!!! Demi Lovato (Meeting Fifth Harmony) Columbus, OH

This was an AMAZING concert! The girls were AMAZING!!! We had meet/greet tickets for Fifth Harmony…..AND while we were at the concert, my daughter won a meet/greet contest….so, she had 2 experiences with the girls!!! Oh my stars, she was so happy!  This time we drove to O’Hare airport as we were able to get tickets via http://www.fly.com at a reasonable price. We flew from O’Hare to Port Columbus airport, I absolutely love CMH airport, small and easy to navigate. We stayed 2 (two) nights at the Hilton Columbus downtown (http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/ohio/hilton-columbus-downtown-CMHDWHH/index.html). We selected this hotel as it was walking distance to the venue & it had a pool :).  The Nationwide arena is centrally located to various restaurants.

The opening acts were Fifth Harmony and Cher Lloyd.  Of course, Fifth Harmony was amazing.  However, we did miss the majority of Cher due my daughter winning the Clean and Clear meet and greet.  Lastly, Demi came on stage like a lightening bolt.  She did not have the frills of back-up dancers and such, she didn’t need it….a true performer!!!!!

One major concern, you had to have a concert ticket in addition to having a VIP meet and greet with Fifth Harmony.  Consequently, with our meeting time being 2:45PM (they scanned the concert ticket at that time with no re-entry to the arena), it made for a longgggggg day!  Mind you, my daughter is 6, dead phone, and hunger creeping in.

CONS: Not Kid friendly, rude staff, parking garage is very scary

Meeting Selena Gomez at 1stBANK Center in Broomfield, Colorado!

 

 

 

 

 

First off, I would like to say I LOVE THE CITY OF DENVER, CO.  With that said, we took a shuttle to O’Hare airport as we were able to get tickets via http://www.fly.com at a reasonable price. We flew from O’Hare to the Denver airport via American Airlines, https://www.aa.com/homePage.do. We stayed at the Aloft Broomfield Denver http://www.aloftbroomfielddenver.com. The hotel is located close to the mall and various restaurants.  Be sure to ask for a room with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Ultimately, we selected this hotel as it was walking distance to the venue & it had an awesome pool :).  Rumor has it that Selena stayed downtown, which was advised to us by some of the meet/greet participants who saw her at the hotel.

 

 

The opening acts were Emblem3 & Christina Grimmie.  Due to the length of the meet/greet and the fact we were at the end of the line, we missed most of the first act, Christina Grimmie….after a food break, potty break, etc.

I would recommend this event to a friend: YES
Favorite Moment: When she gave my daughter a hug and told her she would be a star someday! My daughter replied, “ummmm, I like your shirt Selena!” She was obviously starstruck and did not comprehend the statement Selena made!
